The Brief: To manage the profile of HRA Pharma in the UK and Republic of Ireland with a particular focus on the reproductive health sector and their flagship products, ellaOne® and NorLevo®, ensuring we work within the APBI guidance associated with prescription only medicines where applicable.
The Solution: Employing innovative methods of communication to convey HRA Pharma’s key messages to healthcare professionals and the end user, such as; hosting medical advisory boards, creating original research for both the UK and ROI and undertaking radio and web TV activity covering the general topic of contraception with well-known doctors acting as spokespeople.
Managing coverage across all national media platforms at launch including BBC Radio 1, 4 and 5 live, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sun, Times and Metro.
Correcting media and protecting the brand where appropriate.
Media Training and BCP planning.
Appropriately reacting to approaches from high profile women’s magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire on behalf of ellaOne® as the next generation of emergency contraception.
An increase in sales in the UK/ROI since ellaOne’s launch in 2009.
A move to over-the-counter status for Norlevo in the Republic of Ireland, making it the only emergency contraceptive available without a prescription in the country.
